STOCK Act filings are self-reported public records, may lag transactions by up to 45 days, and report amounts in ranges — every dollar figure below is a range-midpoint estimate and labeled as such. Educational research only: not investment advice, not a reason to copy any trade, and no implication of wrongdoing by any official. New to this data? Read our guide.

What Congress is buying (90 days)

Net $ figures are range-midpoint estimates from disclosure bands.

How congressional trading disclosure works

1. A trade happens

A member of Congress (or their spouse/dependent) buys or sells a security.

2. It must be disclosed

The STOCK Act requires a public filing, generally within 45 days, stating the security, date, and an amount range.

3. Valarn tracks it

New filings are ingested hourly, linked to member profiles, and folded into Valarn's research reports as one signal among many.

Every member of Congress

All 537 current members — each profile lists disclosed trades with links to the official filings.

Frequently asked questions

What is the STOCK Act?

The STOCK (Stop Trading on Congressional Knowledge) Act of 2012 requires members of the U.S. Congress to publicly disclose their securities transactions, generally within 45 days. These disclosures are public records published by the House and Senate.

How current is this congressional trading data?

Disclosures are self-reported and may be filed up to 45 days after a transaction. Valarn ingests newly published filings hourly, so this page reflects the latest public disclosures — not real-time trades.

Are the dollar amounts exact?

No. STOCK Act filings report amounts in ranges (for example "$1,001 – $15,000"), not exact figures. Valarn shows the disclosed range verbatim; any aggregate dollar estimate is a range midpoint and is labeled as an estimate.

Does congressional trading data constitute investment advice?

No. This is educational research built on public records. It is not investment advice, not a recommendation to copy any trade, and not an implication of wrongdoing by any official.

Which members of Congress does Valarn track?

All current members of the House and Senate with disclosed trades, plus a curated list of the most-followed filers. Every member has a profile page listing their disclosed transactions with links to the official filings.

How every Valarn report is built

The research process a hedge fund runs, simulated by AI agents

Work is split across specialist agents, argued out between a bull and a bear, then stress-tested by a risk committee before a single research view is produced — up to 25 agents on Pro+. Educational research only; we don't manage money or place trades.
