What is a report, and what are the three report types?

There are three depths: Basic — a fast 2-analyst snapshot of price action and headlines; Standard — full specialist coverage for your plan plus a one-round bull vs bear debate and a research thesis; and Deep Debate — every analyst available on your plan with a multi-round debate, conviction score, and scenario range. More depth means more analysts, more debate, and more detail.

What is the bull/bear debate?

Instead of a one-sided take, two AI advocates argue opposite sides of the same stock. The Bull researcher builds the strongest case for upside; the Bear researcher challenges every assumption and stress-tests it. A Risk Manager then surfaces what could break the thesis, and a final reviewer synthesizes it all into one research view with an honest confidence score — so you hear both sides, not just one.

Valarn produces research, not predictions. It gathers data, reasons through it from many angles, and shows its work — including an honest confidence score that drops when the analysts disagree or the data is thin. It does not forecast prices or guarantee outcomes. Treat every report as a well-organized starting point for your own due diligence.

Yes. Like any research — human or AI — Valarn can be incomplete or mistaken, data can be stale, and markets are unpredictable. That is exactly why every claim is traceable to a source, confidence is shown honestly, and the bear case is given equal weight. Verify what matters and always do your own due diligence before acting.

Where does the data come from?

Valarn draws on reputable public sources — market prices and fundamentals, regulatory filings and insider Form 4 data, financial and analyst data, macro indicators, and news/events context. Every claim in a report links back to where it came from, so nothing is a black box.

How fresh is the data?

Accepted Answer

Reports use the latest data available from those sources at the time you run the analysis — recent prices, filings, earnings, and news. Markets move constantly, so a report is a snapshot of that moment. Each report is timestamped, and you can re-run any stock to get an updated view.

Yes. The Free plan is $0 and includes 1 Basic report per month with 2 analysts and keyword search — no credit card required. Paid plans start at $19/mo (Starter) and scale up to Team and Enterprise, unlocking more analysts, deeper reports, audio, and more. AI model costs are included in every plan.

What are research credits?

Each plan includes a monthly allowance of research runs — we call this your credits. Running a report uses credits based on its depth. Credits reset every month and do not roll over (Team plans are the exception). AI model costs are already covered by your plan, so there is nothing extra to pay per run.

Can I cancel anytime?

Accepted Answer

Yes. Plans are month-to-month and you can cancel anytime — you keep access through the end of your current billing period. Annual billing saves roughly 20%, and you can upgrade or downgrade whenever your needs change.

Who can see my research?

Accepted Answer

Your research is private to your account by default. Reports, notes, and your Research Workspace are only visible to you (and, on Team plans, the teammates you invite to a shared workspace). Nothing is published unless you choose to share it via a share link, which you can revoke at any time.

Can I export or delete my data?

Yes. You can export any report as PDF or Word (Starter and up), or CSV and JSON on every plan, and create or revoke share links whenever you like. You stay in control of your data and can request deletion of your account and its contents at any time.
